Snellville resident Johann L. Berenguer has withdrawn from the race as a candidate for city council. As a result, Gretchen Schulz will be the only remaining candidate for the Post 4 seat when current Councilman Bobby Howard’s term expires. Howard is not running for reelection, therefore Schulz will move into the council member position unopposed.

Since incumbent council members Christy Lenski (Post 3) and Barbara Bender (Post 5) are also seeking reelection unopposed, the city will have no need to hold a municipal election in November.
