Snellville approves church use at Fountain Square Shopping Center

The Snellville City Council voted recently to allow Faithful City Christian Center Inc., also known as Jesus Answers Prayers Ministry, to operate a church/place of worship in suite 2134 of the Fountain Square Shopping Center, 2110 McGee Road. The church must occupy the location within three months or the special use permit becomes null and void.

Other conditions of approval prohibit signs higher than 15 feet and larger than 225 square feet. Normally churches are restricted to maximum lot size of three acres. The city is allowing a variance since Fountain Square Shopping Center contains a little more than 8 acres.
