Smyrna city officials are seeking to hire 27 people.

Except for one with a March 1 deadline, all of the jobs are open until filled.

That one full-time job is the court services clerk, paying an annual salary of $31,177.

Of the remaining 13 full-time jobs, annual salaries range from $25,324 to $80,788.

Also paying $31,177 annually is a job for a sanitation truck driver.

A purchasing buyer/records clerk would be paid an annual salary of $39,957 to $49,920.

A traffic signal technician would be paid a yearly salary of $37,024 to $46,280.

For $29,714 annually, three of those full-time jobs are for two equipment operators and a utility services meter technician.

At $25,324 annually, four of the full-time jobs are for crew workers.

The three remaining full-time jobs are assistant city engineer for $53,859 to $80,788; 911 communications officer for $34,104 and police officer for $38,494 (uncertified) and $41,420 (certified).

For part-time employees, there are 13 openings for the city’s summer camp, a recycling center attendant, a receptionist, a pool manager, an open gym supervisor, lifeguards, crew workers, a 911 communications officer, a cashier and a basketball supervisor.

Hourly payment for these part-time jobs range from $8 to $16.40.
