The Smyrna City Council decided Monday to spend $1,056,501 on four projects:
- $485,963 to lowest bidder Integrated Construction and Nobility for rehabilitation of Fox Creek Golf Course Lake.
- $239,000 to lowest bidder Ardito Construction Co. to replace 192 feet of a 48-inch storm sewer and 24 feet of a 30-inch storm sewer at Hickory Acres due to deterioration.
- $233,420 to lowest bidder Tople Construction & Engineering to install 1,100 feet of storm sewer and catch basins on King Springs Road between Kings View Drive and SpringWood Drive to correct poor drainage of the roadway and stop stormwater from leaving the curb line.
- $98,118 to lowest bidder B.J. Gunter Co. for the remodel of Fire Station No. 4 on South Cobb Drive. Built in 1991, the station will receive interior finishes, floor covering, lighting, cabinets, HVAC and an emergency back-up power generator.
