Smyrna residents invited to review plan Thursday
Smyrna residents are invited to review draft materials for the 2040 Smyrna Comprehensive Plan 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Brawner Hall, 3180 Atlanta Road, Smyrna.
Draft elements of the plan will be posted for participants to review at their own pace as they discuss materials and provide input to the planning team, said Community Engagement Coordinator Meghan McMullen of Jacobs.com. There will be no formal presentation. Input from the open house will be used to refine content and draft the final plan, McMullen said.
The full draft plan document will be available on the Guide Smyrna website by June 30 and is expected to be reviewed by the Smyrna City Council at 7 p.m. July 10 for possible adoption.
