Smyrna city administrator resigns
Smyrna is looking for a new city administrator after Eric Taylor resigned last week.
Both Taylor and the city decided it was time for a change, said Smyrna spokesperson Jennifer Bennett. Taylor has worked for the city since 2006 and city administrator for five years.
Smyrna’s finance director Toni Jo Howard has stepped in as interim administrator until the position can be filled. The job is expected to be posted next week and will be active for 30 days.
