Smyrna announces temporary field closures

A schedule has been announced for Smyrna fields to be ready for opening day of baseball and softball leagues.

These schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.

Jan. 6:

Conducting field evaluations
Re-open Tolleson Park and Chuck Camp Park (if field conditions permit)
Begin work at Brinkley Park (closing the fields)
Cobb Park to remain open

Jan. 21:

Begin work at Chuck Camp Park (closing the fields)
Brinkley Park to remain closed, preserving work completed
Tolleson Park to remain open
Cobb Park to remain open

Feb. 9:

Brinkley Park and Chuck Camp Park fields will open to Little League

Feb. 11:

Begin work at Cobb Park (closing the field)
Tolleson Park to remain open
Brinkley Park and Chuck Camp Park to remain open

Feb. 18:

Cobb Park open to Little League
Tolleson Park closed

March 2:

Tolleson Park to re-open
