Isolated showers picked up in Atlanta, Jonesboro and spots of Lithonia Friday afternoon, according to Channel 2 Action News.

They were sporadic and briefly swept across several metro Atlanta areas.

And that’s not the last of them.

The threat of light rain looms over outdoor Memorial Day plans, but it's a small threat.

There is a 10 percent chance of rain Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

“So if you head to the beach, hopefully you’re lucky,” meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Unless you're heading to the South Carolina coast, where a tropical storm warning was issued at 4:50 p.m.

Temperatures were 84 degrees in Atlanta, 78 degrees in Blairsville and 87 degrees in Griffin just after 5:30 p.m.

Highs are expected to be 86 degrees Saturday, 87 degrees Sunday and 88 degrees Monday.

There is a 10 percent chance of rain Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
