A flock of sheep will soon be dispatched to Brookhaven Park.

Expected to start at the front area along Peachtree Road, the sheep are used to clean out invasive growth and overgrown vegetation. The sheep will be enclosed with an electric fence and protected by a livestock dog. Signage will be at the site to notify the public.

Park guests can find updates as work progresses on the city website. Earlier this summer sheep were successfully used at both Briarwood and Fernwood parks.
