Go ahead and mark every Friday in your calendar this month as “busy.”

Why? Well because you’ll be at Atlantic Station’s Friday Night Live, a free music event that takes place weekly in August. Local musicians take the Central Park stage for two-hour performances, playing both covers and original songs.

That’s the case for every Friday except the last one, when karaoke will be set up, so anyone can join in and sing “Free Bird.” (You know someone’s going to do it.)

Good news: the Central Park Bar will be open during each show.
