The newly reconfigured Fayette County Public Arts Committee is accepting applications for 11 volunteer positions.
Members meet the third Monday of each month to help acquire, cultivate and perform responsible stewardship of public arts, and to integrate art into the community.
To stagger terms, six members will be appointed by the Board of Commissioners for two years and five will be appointed for one year; all subsequent terms will be for two years. Members must be county residents. Applications are available from Floyd Jones at fjones@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5102, and must be submitted by April 22.
