Peachtree City police began searching all three local lakes by boat Monday in an ongoing effort to locate a missing woman.
Marcia “Mia” Reno, who speaks with a British accent, was last seen leaving her residence on foot on Nov. 25 wearing black pants and rubber boots, carrying a black, blue and gray backpack. Her family believes she may be suffering from dementia.
A possible sighting was reported Dec. 2 near Ga. Hwy. 74 and Peachtree Parkway. Police conducted a “heat signature” search over the weekend, and the Coweta County Sheriff’s air section is also assisting. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
