The head of the recreation authority that oversees Turner Field says the Cobb County-bound Braves owe the surrounding neighborhoods about $400,000 in past parking fees.

Not so, retorted Mike Plant, the Braves president of building new ballparks. He told Keisha Lance Bottoms in a terse email that she was a) wasting his time, b) confused c) new to the job or d) all of the above.

Answer: D

Bottoms, who was placed in the rec authority job last year by Mayor Kasim Reed and is running for his job, said she came across the accounting deficiencies while playing with the numbers on her calculator. The money could could help some of the struggling residents who live by the park.
