The DeKalb County School District wants people to comment via email about a planned "balanced scorecard" that outlines how progress and decline will be measured in a five-year strategic plan.

"We look forward to being able to measure growth and be transparent with our community," Superintendent Cheryl Atkinson said in a statement. The scorecard measures mastery of content as well as the quality of personnel, operations, school safety and communication.
