Two surplus buses formerly belonging to the Henry County Board of Education will be used for SWAT team training by the Henry County Police Department. The buses, without engines, were offered to the county and the transfer was approved by the Board of Commissioners at its Dec. 16 meeting. The school board will have the buses towed to the county’s training center and after the police department has finished with them they will be accepted by the recycling center, according to county officials.
