A school bus and a fire truck collided in south Atlanta on Monday afternoon, causing two minor injuries.

"They touched each other," Capt. Jolyon Bundrige, a spokesman with the Atlanta Department of Fire Rescue, said of the two vehicles.

The collision occurred before 4 p.m., at the intersection of Metropolitan Parkway and Casplan Street SW.

No children were aboard the bus, but two firefighters were hurt when a mirror on their truck shattered, Bundrige told the AJC.

They were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, he said.
