Sandy Springs residents are invited to an open house to assist the city as it develops a Recreation and Park Master Plan addressing green spaces and greenways, recreation, parks, open space and trails.

“The master plan will assess the current inventory and determine the potential of adding more recreation and parks initiatives,” according to a city announcement.

The open house is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m., April 18, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, Building 500, 7840 Roswell Road.

A planning team will present findings from the research and analysis phase of the planning process. Attendees will then participate in “interactive exercises” to comment on issues, concerns and ideas for park facilities and programs, officials said.
