Sandy Springs police are looking for a man who may be connected to several armed robberies in the metro area.

A man with a semi-automatic pistol ordered the clerk to fill a bag with cash when he robbed the Shell gas station in the 7800 block of Holcomb Bridge Road around 4 a.m. Friday, police said.

Authorities said Tuesday that they believe the same man robbed three other gas stations — in Rockdale County on June 16, and in Chamblee and Cobb County on June 18.

The suspect was wearing the same black wave cap and tan and white shoes, police said. He is described as a black male between 5-foot-6 and 5-9, and 140 to 160 pounds. Sandy Springs police released a surveillance photo of the suspect.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect should contact Sandy Springs Police Detective J.T. Williams at 770-551-6937 or jtwilliams@sandyspringsga.gov. Tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or 404-577-8477.
