The city of Sandy Springs will hold an open house 6 p.m. Feb. 25 at Sandy Springs City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, on the City Center project. The meeting has two aims: updating residents on the multi-faceted development’s progress, and gathering input from residents on what City Center should actually look like.
The gathering will kick off with a project update, followed by visual preference surveys on a number of its components including a city green, performing arts center, city hall offices and retail/residential development. The city will publish an online survey starting Feb. 26 at project website sandyspringscitycenter.com for residents unable to attend the meeting.
Planned elements of the development centering on Roswell Road include mixed-use development featuring dining, retail shops and residential living, a civic and cultural center and green space.
