The Sandy Springs City Council has approved a list of 27 street segments totaling roughly 2.9 miles to be resurfaced under a state grant program.

The list calls for paving two sections of Cameron Ridge Drive; one of Cameron Valley Court; three of Dunwoody Heritage Drive; nine of Hammond Drive; nine of Hunters Branch Drive; and three of Sandy Springs Circle, according to a staff report to the council.

The work is scheduled for the 2020 fiscal year and will be funded in part by a $997,921 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant of the Georgia Department of Transportation, staff said. The grant requires a 30 percent local match, or $299,376, to be provided by the city.
