Sandy Springs has announced the hiring of a Greenville, S.C., events executive as sales and marketing manager for the new, city-owned Performing Arts Center at City Springs.
Lisa Crawford will begin her new job Feb. 12, officials said. She will be responsible for the promotion of concerts and events at City Springs through partnerships, sponsorships and cross-marketing opportunities.
For the last seven years, Crawford has been director of sales and marketing for the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. Previously, she worked in Atlanta as special events and operations manager at CNN and the Woodruff Arts Center. She is a native Atlantan and graduate of the University of Georgia.
Opening later this year, the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center will have the Byers Theatre with 1,070 seats, a Studio Theatre with 400 seats, a Conference Center and Rooftop Terrace event space, and a City Green programmable park. Information: www.citysprings.com
