Students, parents and neighbors of Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs will get a chance to learn more about the school’s planned expansion at a meeting set for 6 p.m. Monday in the school auditorium, 5900 Raider Drive
Representatives from the project’s architect and construction firm will show the proposed design of the 26-classroom addition and talk about the project timeline and its impact on the neighborhood, then take questions from the audience.
Demolition of the old Heards Ferry Elementary School adjacent to Riverwood is underway to facilitate the expansion. Construction’s set to begin in December, with completion planned for summer 2017.
