Neighborhood traffic will be affected as permeable pavers are installed at the intersection of Myrtle Street and Zion Circle in Roswell over the next month or two, if unforeseen road or drainage issues or inclement weather delays the work, city officials say.

The project is scheduled to begin Monday. Signage on Zion Circle will provide for two-way traffic during construction. Parts of Myrtle and Zion will be closed during the week but will remain open Sundays. Zion will be accessible at the south end of the street, near Oak Street.

Roswell has contracted with Surfaces Group LLC to install 255 linear feet of pavers on Myrtle, and up to 215 linear feet on Zion. They are part of a green infrastructure pilot program to treat stormwater runoff, improve water quality and guard against floods.
