If your child got a new bike or scooter for Christmas and needs a safe place to experiment with it, Roswell officials are offering help. The city’s Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department has set up holiday toy safe play areas in four city parks. The specially barricaded, non-city-staffed areas will be available through January 5, and are designed for bikes, scooters, skateboards, remote-control vehicles and other toys requiring elbow room.

Locations: Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road; East Roswell Park, 9000 Fouts Road; Waller Park, 250 Oak Street; and Hembree Park, 850 Hembree Road.
