The city of Roswell will conduct a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the corner of Holcomb Bridge Road and Market Boulevard marking completion of two projects: the northbound Ga. 400 off-ramp and westbound through-lane projects at Holcomb Bridge Road and Ga. 400. It was postponed from Thursday due to expected storms.

The new Ga. 400 ramp lane eliminates the Holcomb Bridge Road eastbound left turn “trap lane” approaching Old Alabama Road. The ramp has a dual right turn lane and signal. The Georgia Department of Transportation funded the about $1 million project.

The new, third westbound through-lane on Holcomb Bridge between Old Alabama Road and the Ga. 400 northbound on-ramp is aimed at improving mobility and easing congestion. The $2.3 million project also includes turn lane and traffic signal upgrades.

Roswell voters approved money for the projects in a November 2012 bond referendum.
