Road closure approved for Powder Springs filming

The Powder Springs City Council has approved a road closure for filming in August.

The closure will be from 8 p.m. until midnight Aug. 8 on Broad Street between Marietta Street and Hotel Avenue.

Independent filmmaker and producer Briana James said she will be filming a 1950s dance sequence for her short film “Of Ancient Days.”
