A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the successful prosecution of those responsible for vandalizing Oak Grove Elementary School in Peachtree City last week.

A police department alert says that on May 14-15, individuals entered the school twice and caused several thousand dollars’ worth of damage by breaking doors, splattering paint, and leaving whiteboards and building materials unusable. Officers collected fingerprints and footprints, noting that those responsible for the vandalism may have red, gray or white paint on their shoes or clothing.

The reward is being sponsored by MEJA Construction, the company doing the renovation and expansion work at the school. Any information that might identify the suspects can be sent to Det. Sean Ishihara at sishihara@peachtree-city.org.
