Report: Roaches found at Indian restaurant in Atlanta

Health officials have advised an Indian restaurant in Atlanta to contact pest control services after roaches were found in the facility, according to a report.

Inspectors found roaches in and on the prep cooler at Himalayan Spice in DeKalb County, according to a health inspection report released Thursday.

The restaurant scored a 78 on the health inspection report. The failing score is a 69.

Officials also noted an employee using bare hands to prepare food and excessive food debris in the stove area.

Management at Himalayan Spice told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that they have reached out to a pest control service.
