Atlanta police arrested a man they say burglarized a popular Midtown restaurant three times.

Kwame Taylor, 42, faces second degree burglary charges for three incidents at Zocalo Mexican Kitchen and Cantina Restaurant on 10th Street, according Fulton County jail records.

The most recent burglary was April 13, police said.

Police were headed to a panhandling call Thursday at West Peachtree Street and Linden Avenue when they recognized Taylor, according to a post on the Atlanta Police Department’s Facebook page.

Taylor remains in the Fulton County jail.

Atlanta police said Taylor has 27 previous arrests for crimes that include, auto theft, burglary, drug possession. Twelve of those arrests were in downtown Atlanta and Midtown.

No other details were released.
