Gwinnett Commissioners on Tuesday approved $218,200 to renovate a wall at Pinckneyville Park, 4758 S. Old Peachtree Road in Norcross.
The contract is awarded to low bidder Bayne Development Group, LLC and will be paid using 2009 SPLOST finds.
The project includes selective demolition and removal of existing wall backfill.
Next contractors will provide installation of geotextile drain mat and weep system, installation and compaction of clean backfill material, replacement of concrete sidewalk, curb, gutter, and asphalt parking, repairs to the masonry rubble wall, restoration of metal guardrail, and associated site restoration.
