The most recent iteration of Renfroe Middle School’s master plan gets a showing 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday in the school’s media room, 220 West College Ave. in Decatur. The first phase of the redesign and new construction begins in March with installation of underground utilities.
Phase One, costing $5.5 million, will also include 10 to 13 trailers and 14 permanent classrooms in a new building fronting the existing gym, with construction expected to begin in June or July and finish early next year.
Total cost for the entire project is anticipated at $34.7 million.
