The top three candidates vying to become the next president of Reinhardt University will each visit the Waleska campus for two days in late January.
Kina S. Mallard, executive vice president and provost at Carson-Newman University will be on campus Jan. 20 and 21, followed by Ronald D. Dempsey, vice president for advancement and university development at Southern Polytechnic State University Jan. 22 and 23, and Colleen P. Keith, president of Spartanburg Methodist College Jan. 28 and 29.
Search committee chair William G. Hasty Jr. said the three finalists emerged from an initial pool of 70 applicants, and that each will meet with students, faculty, staff, school trustees and alumni. He said trustees will make a final pick in February.
