RaceTrac is seeking a conditional use permit and zoning changes to allow them to build a convenience store/gas station at the southwest corner of the Thompson Mill Road/State Route 211 intersection in Braselton. The property is owned by Fountainhead Development.

RaceTrac is seeking the removal of a current condition requiring buildings to be two-story or use a false two-story facade.

The Braselton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the requests at 7 p.m. Sept. 24, and the Braselton Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing at 4 p.m. Oct. 4 to determine final approval or denial. Both meetings will be held at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53.
