Cobb County-based RaceTrac will mark National Teacher Appreciation Day Tuesday by offering free gasoline for the thousands of educators in the Cobb County School District.
Teachers can stop by RaceTrac at 1625 Old Highway 41 in Kennesaw or 3103 Roswell Road in Marietta May 7 and get free gasoline for their vehicles “as a thank you for fueling the minds of children,” the company said.
You can stop by either RaceTrac convenience store from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to get a free $20 gift card while supplies last.
When you get to the store, park at a gas pump and visit the marked table at the front of a store.
When you show your valid CCSD identification badge, you will receive a $20 gift card. You can redeem the gift card at the pump station.
Liz Howell, a spokeswoman with RaceTrac, said the offer is only for teachers in the Cobb County School District.
