Gipco Southern Inc. is postponing a request for a conditional use permit to build a RaceTrac Convenience Store/Gas Station at the southwest corner of the Thompson Mill Road/State Route 211 intersection in Braselton. Fountainhead Development owns the property, currently zoned for a planned unit development. The property lies within the State Route 211 Overlay District.
The Braselton Planning Commission had planned to review the request Oct. 23 followed by a public hearing before the Braselton Mayor and City Council Nov. 9. RaceTrac is not cancelling the plans, but is delaying the request to a later date.
