Details remain elusive after a woman was found dead in a room at Quality Inn and Suites near Lithonia last Friday.
By Tuesday afternoon, her identity was still unknown, Maj. Stephen Fore of DeKalb County police said.
The woman, who was not a registered guest at the Snapfinger Park Drive hotel, was found at about 11:35 a.m.
"We have to wait for the autopsy results from the (medical examiner) before we can make any determinations on cause of death," Fore said, adding: "There were no apparent signs of injury."
The initial incident report classifies the case a "willful killing" and says the death is being investigated. The report offers few other details.
A woman listed as the complainant on the report didn't respond to a message left Tuesday afternoon.
