Qualifying for two city council seats in Lake City ends Aug. 23. CONTRIBUTED
The city of Lake City will have two council seats up for election in November. This is a four-year term.
Qualifying is already underway. The last day for qualifying is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 23.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the City Hall for Lake City, 5455 Jonesboro Road, Lake City. The qualifying fee for each council seat is $252.
