Publix is expanding its Gwinnett County dairy facility, adding 44 new jobs.

The Dacula facility will get a 41,625-square-foot expansion with a new production area, new processing lines and new filling lines, according to a release from Partnership Gwinnett, an economic development group.

The expansion will result in a larger number of dairy products supplied to metro Atlanta Publix locations, as well as a wider variety of products for shoppers to choose from.

“We are proud that a thriving and respected organization like Publix chose to expand their manufacturing operations in Gwinnett County,” stated Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chair Charlotte Nash in the release. “Their continued investment speaks highly of the assets we have available to support growing companies and we congratulate them on their continued success.”
