Forsyth County announced it will hold community gatherings in mid-September to hear from residents, businesses and property owners “on a variety of topics that will help shape the identity of southeastern Forsyth.”

The county will seek comments on the area bounded by Ga. 20 on the north, McGinnis Ferry Road on the south and Ga. 400 on the west. The meetings will take place over three days, Sept. 16-18, at the Sharon Springs Park Community Building, 1950 Sharon Road, Cumming. Specific times will be announced soon.

Topics to be discussed include a logo, tagline and other marketing recommendations to help identify the area.

“These recommendations will help support a brand style as part of a larger placemaking initiative currently underway that will incorporate commercial design standards as an additional element of the project,” according to the county announcement.
