Professional appraiser appointed to Fulton assessors board

The Fulton County Commission has appointed Roswell-based appraiser Dillon H. Fries to the county’s Board of Assessors, replacing Rick Kenny, who moved to Hall County. North Fulton Commissioner Liz Hausmann made the nomination.

The assessors board oversees the setting of fair market values on properties throughout the county, which determines how much taxpayers get billed. Fries, a real estate appraiser since 1974, is the owner and president of Dillon H. Fries & Associates.
