After a November postponement, the Powder Springs City Council is expected to vote next week on extensive code changes, totaling 657 pages, to replace its Unified Development Code in its entirety.

The meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday in the Council Chambers, Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive.

These “significant” and “extensive” rewrites of 24 articles may be found at cityofpowdersprings.org/719/Unified-Development-Code-Update, said the city’s Community Development Director Tina Garver.

If approved, the changes will take effect immediately.
