Public hearings are planned in Powder Springs 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in the Council Chambers, 4488 Pineview Drive by the planning and zoning commission and 7 p.m. Dec. 7 by the city council on a variance to make private streets in a subdivision to be city-owned streets.
The variance concerns roads, sidewalks and easements in the Carrington Park Subdivision off U.S. 278 near Florence Road.
Anyone who desires to speak at a Powder Springs public hearing is required to disclose campaign contributions to the Community Development Department five days before the hearing.
