Powder Springs mayor announces appointments
Powder Springs Mayor Patricia Vaughn announced her annual city council appointments Monday to serve as liaisons with the city’s departments.
They are Finance, Rosalyn Neal; Water and Sewer, Dr. Chris Wizner; Streets, Cheryl Sarvis; Sanitation, Nancy Hudson and Parks and Recreation, Al Thurman.
Also, Vaughn appointed city council members to work with the city’s boards.
They are the Downtown Development Authority, Neal; the Ford Board, Sarvis; Keep Powder Springs Beautiful, Hudson; the Development Authority of Powder Springs, Wizner and the Planning and Zoning Commission with Wizner for the first half of this year, then Thurman for the second half.
