Public hearings are scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Council Chambers, Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive, Powder Springs by the Powder Springs City Council on variances and special uses.

  • Tim A. McTyre Sr. has requested a special use permit to allow dumping of excavated material at 4818 Hill Road.
  • A variance application has been made by P & L Holdings to reduce a parking setback at 3150 Florence Road.
  • Kena Stewart has submitted variance and special use applications to allow fencing in the front yards and vary fence height and material requirements at 3297 Caley Mill Court.

Anyone wanting to speak at a public hearing is required to disclose campaign contributions to the city’s Community Development Department five days before the hearing.
