A public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Powder Springs Municipal Court Building, 4483 Pineview Drive by the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission on a variance application by Kerline D. Piard and Malamav Community and Human Services to allow a day care closer than 300 feet to another day care.
The property is at 3942 Austell Powder Springs Road.
A final public hearing and vote is expected at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 by Mayor Patricia Vaughn and the city council.
Anyone wanting to speak at a city public hearing is required to disclose campaign contributions to the Community Development Department five days before the hearing.
