Powder Springs will close roads for three events this month and next.

They include Pineview Drive, Oakview Drive, North Town Square and South Town Square between 4 and 10 p.m. Sept. 30 for the Push Rods Fifth Saturday Car Show.

The same roads are expected to be closed between 2 and 10 p.m. Oct. 3 for the National Night Out Celebration by the Powder Springs Police Department.

New Macland Road and affected side streets from Macedonia Road to the city’s northern boundary just south of Glenn Road will be closed from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 for the McEachern High School Homecoming Parade.

The parade will last from 5 to 6 p.m. from the intersection of Macedonia Road and New Macland Road to Macland Road north of McEachern High.
