In Powder Springs, applications are being accepted for bow hunting of deer for the 2019-20 hunting season.
Aug. 23 is the application deadline.
This season will run from Sept. 14 through Jan. 31, 2020.
The hunting location will be on city property on Dallas-Powder Springs Road.

All approved applicants must attend a hunter safety course hosted by the city.
