The section of Langley Drive in front of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville reopened June 25 following the completion of a project to reconfigure the building’s front entrance.

The entrance upgrades include one lane of traffic in each direction, a pedestrian drop-off area, improved entrances to the parking lot and a handicap parking area closer to the building entrance.

The project also replaced sidewalks and walkways with concrete, added a new plaza to the front of the building, enhanced security for the front of the building and added a bus pullover area for future use.

A separate project is currently underway behind the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center to build a new courtroom addition and parking deck.
