The Dacula City Council recently approve a zoning variance for a reduction of minimum parking spaces that will make way for a Chick-fil-A at Dacula Road and Old Peachtree Road.

Approval came with 18 conditions including guidelines for the building’s exterior construction, landscaping, exterior lighting, outdoor storage and signage. A 5-foot wide sidewalk will be constructed on the property frontage of Dacula Road and along the proposed extension of Old Peachtree Road. Prior to receiving a development permit, the developer will also complete a Traffic Impact Study for the site. The study will be submitted to the city and the Gwinnett County D.O.T. for review and approval.

The parking variance will require a minimum of 53 parking spaces.
