A double shooting in Riverdale early Tuesday evening that left one person in critical condition is being investigated.
The incident happened at the Villages on the River apartment complex in the 6600 block of Church Street. The identity of the shooter is unknown, Riverdale Police Chief Raymond Spivey said.
One person was in critical condition, while the other was shot in the wrist, police said. Both were taken to Atlanta Medical Center.
Witnesses told police that the perpetrator fled into the wood line of the apartment complex.
